One Response to The Lib Dems helped introduce the Bedroom tax

  1. Alan Grubb says:

Speaking personally in the absence of the authority in this case Southend Borough Council introducing a clause to all new tenants who are in social; housing, saying that their housing arrangements will be reviewed every two/three years and as the tenants housing requirements change the council reserves the right to rehouse the tenant in social housing accommodation within a mile of there original accommodation.

This will free up under used Social Housing. I also do think that the previous government should have withdrawn the Right To By Scheme.

May i suggest you view last Monday on BBC 1 (London) (Inside Out) and ask yourself could the same problem happen in Southend and if so the council will end up buying back previous council homes at an inflated price which is to the determent of the tax payer.
